stone’s throw from the beach.

Nerja offers a seemingly endless choice of restaurants and traditional tapas bars with delicious food and friendly service. Or you may prefer to try one of the typical Andalusian beach restaurants where you can enjoy anything from freshly grilled sardines (a local speciality) to Spain’s finest paella, having just watched it being freshly prepared over a wood fire. Whether you tastes range from curries, Chinese and Italian meals or good old fish and chips, the wide choice on offer in Nerja will meet your requirements.
Activities
The warm Mediterranean sea offers extensive water sports activities (water temperatures vary from only 18 deg C in winter to 24 deg C in summer). These include fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, water skiing, canoeing, sailing and paragliding. Other land based activities nearby include walking, cycling, horse riding, tennis, go-karting and golf. The Baviera Golf Club is 15 kms away, whilst the Rincon de la Victoria course is 30 kms. There are several Petanque (Boules) courts for enthusiasts and regular theatre and concerts at the Centro Cultural Villa de Nerja and Flamenco shows at several local bars.
